    I had an appointment arranged for them to attend a call out. After staying home all day and them failing to attend I emailed them to see why no one attended. I had a response from a lady called Christine from consumonics stating they had a system error and the jobs hadn't loaded correctly. She apologised and offered an alternative date and an insulting £5 off the call out fee.     DO NOT deal with this company!!! It has been a horrendous experience and I wish I did more research before I phoned them up. It has taken just over 2 months to sort my TV out, which is ridiculous. They charge an upfront fee to draw you in then give you an overprices quote to fix your TV. I chose not to take their repair cost and now my TV is in a worse state than when I sent it off. They have been no help on the phone and have constantly lied about calling and trying to deliver the TV.     Truly shocking service. Requested repair re HD sound and advised this would be fixed within 7 days on 2nd Feb. It is now 2nd March no repair and agreed to send a reconditioned 42 inch TV and my old TV back with the existing brackets, Delivery today but no old TV and no brackets. Even tried to charge me £112 !     I received an email from them saying the could send an engineer to mine to collect my TV and there would be a £75 call out charge, I said to them that I would contact them back if I want to proceed, The next day I received a call saying they are sending out an engineer even though I said I will contact them if i wanted to proceed, The following day I then received a text saying i owe them £75 and they as they have my TV!   • Rip off, unprofessional con men in Leeds.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS



    They took my TV away to fix, charged me £50 initially that they said would be part of the fix cost, then a MONTH later told me it was going to cost another £172 to fix. Another 6 WEEKS later they said that the screen was faulty (ie they broke it) and it was going to cost another £700 to fix!!! Then he said they would dispose of the TV.   • Ridiculous Engineer's report



    These charlatans furnished me with a useless "Engineer's report" (for a faulty plasma TV) that conspicuously avoided any reference to the likely cause. This is something I specifically requested (I was claiming under SOGA 1979) and they promised me they would in a confirmation email, so I released the TV and paid up. Well, they didn't nor would they and it cost me £95. Contacted Trading Standards - not a dicky bird from them either.     I contacted Consumonics/CESN as they looked to be specialists in Samsung LCD TVs. After collecting the TV for a £60 non-refundable charge I heard nothing for a week... a second week nearly went by so I phoned them. I was told I would receive a call in the next few days with a repair estimate. No call. I called again, same story. No call. This persisted for about 3 weeks before again after I chased they confirmed they needed a part.   • very rude and not clear on website



    basically i want nothing to do with these people ever again. The website tells you nothing about the £95.00 labour costs on top of £70.00 pick up and delivery costs. The T.v went for repair but came fixed with the power button, still didnt work sent it back, came back again and still not working , went back again and came back with it working this time , but the button fixed originally on the first visit was wobbly again.
